The Learning Bridge
“The Learning Bridge” is an Erasmus+ initiative focused on bridging the gap between Vocational Education and Training (VET) in healthcare and the real-world demands of the labor market. It aims to address the lack of practical resources and tools available for students in healthcare-related VET courses, particularly those focused on auxiliary nursing care and care for dependent people. This will be achieved by creating immersive 360º audiovisual resources and Virtual Reality (VR) training environments.

GOALS
Develop immersive tools:
The project will create 360º videos of healthcare protocols and 3 Virtual Reality stations to provide an innovative, hands-on learning experience. These tools are designed to fill the gaps in practical training that students encounter, preparing them for internships and eventual employment.
Foster inclusion and innovation:
By leveraging cutting-edge technology, the project will promote an inclusive, sustainable, and high-quality educational model, which will help prepare students for the digital and technological demands of modern healthcare environments.
Enhance digital and professional skills:
The immersive training will improve both the technical competencies and digital skills of students and teachers. The project also aims to boost student motivation, allowing them to practice critical healthcare tasks in a safe, simulated environment.
Prepare students for the labor market:
The Learning Bridge focuses on real-world applications, allowing students to practice in highly realistic environments. This helps to minimize the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical skills, ensuring that students are better prepared for internships and professional roles.
